  • Transformer Selection: When selecting a 12V transformer, make sure its output wattage is at least 20% higher than the total wattage required by all connected devices. For instance, if you're connecting eight 2.8-watt LED lights, you need a transformer with an output wattage of at least 26.8 watts (8 x 2.8 x 1.2 = 26.8 watts). Therefore, choose a transformer with an output wattage greater than 26.8 watts.
